2365 - 02 Level 2 Diploma in Electrical Installations
8 Week Course with Exams
This qualification is for those completely new to the industry with no experience at all and is the first step on the career ladder to becoming a Gold card holder under the JIB scheme. The qualification is designed to allow the student to work on building sites as well as domestic, commercial and industrial settings as an improver/electricians mate and then progress onto the level 3 diplomas before becoming a fully qualified electrician.
The course is a blended mix of both practical and theory and is designed for people with no knowledge at all and will teach them the basic such as fitting a back box, using a drill and raw plugs through to fitting simple lighting circuits and ring mains. During the course you will cover the following five modules:-
Unit 201 Health and safety in building services engineering.
Unit 202 Principles of electrical science
Unit 203 Electrical installations technology
Unit 204 Installation of wiring systems and enclosures
Unit 210 Understand how to communicate with others within building services engineering
All of the above modules will be carried out here at our purpose built dedicated training centre where we have various simulated training bays for your practical exams and our own computer suite linked to City and Guilds for you to take all of your online tests.
After successful completion of this course students have the option to either work in the industry to gain more experience or alternatively move straight onto the City & Guilds Level 3 diploma in electrical installations.
Duration & Costs
This City and Guilds 2365 level 2 diploma is a seven week course, that can either be completed in 8 weeks full time or alternately spaced over around your work commitments the course costs £3000 including VAT Course and only requires a £100 deposit to secure your space.
