This course is designed to take anyone with little or no experience in the electrical trade through all the qualifications needed to join NICEIC in just thirty five weeks. The course will run on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6pm to 9pm with an exam on the last day of each module.
The first module of the course is a basic electrical module, including practical work.
The second module is on the Building Regulations, which is theory based, followed by an online exam.
The third module of the course is a theory based module on 18th Edition wiring regulations accompanied by an online examination.
Module four is on Portable Appliance Testing, including theory and practical.
Module five covers the 2391-50 inspection & testing course, involving practical work, a written examination and an online multiple choice examination.
Module six covers the 2391-51 Periodic inspection & testing course, involving practical work, a written examination and an online multiple choice examination.

Who is this course for?
This intensive course is for people who have a desire to pursue an electrical career and gain the required qualifications in just a short time period.
Outcome of the Electrical Training
The result of this entire course will be five City & Guilds awarded level 3 qualifications. Please note, this is not the level 3 diploma or NVQ.
This course runs from 10th September 2019 on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6pm to 9pm until June 2020. There are 35 teaching weeks in total.
