This City & Guilds Approved Course is designed to take anyone with little or no experience in the electrical trade through all the qualifications needed to join NICEIC in just five weeks of training. We’re so confident in our tuition that we offer a Free Re-Test for each module’s test that you complete. All test fees are included In the price of the course, too – so no nasty catches or hidden costs.

The Basic Electrical module, suitable for those with no electrical experience. It covers the basics of electrical installation and includes plenty of time for practical work.

The second week of the course includes a theory based module on The Building Regulations on Monday and Tuesday, with a multiple choice exam to assess it, followed by PAT testing Wednesday to Friday with an online multiple choice examination and a practical assessment.

The third week is on 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, accompanied by an online examination.

Weeks four and five cover the 2391-50 (replacing 2394) and 2391-51 (replacing 2395) inspection & testing, involving practical assessments and an online multiple choice examination.

Who is this course for?
This intensive course is for people who have a desire to pursue an electrical career and gain the required qualifications in just a short time period.
Outcome of the Electrical Training
The result of this entire course will be five City & Guilds awarded level 3 qualifications. Please note this is not the level 3 diploma or NVQ.
The Duration
The daytime courses follow a nine-week cycle, with teaching on alternate weeks apart from two consecutive weeks for the 2391 courses, giving five teaching weeks altogether. Alternatively, you can choose to do the course over the course of a year, including 35 teaching weeks, from September 2019 on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6pm to 9pm.
