Not at all! A large percentage of our learners are mature students simply keeping up to date with current standards. Everybody is made to feel welcome in the centre.

Yes, for information on financial assistance to support your learning, please visit www.direct.gov.uk/adultlearning or contact 0800 100 900. If you’re unemployed or have a job coach, please speak to them regarding Low Value Provision training, as they use this to fund our courses!

Available when booking onto intensive courses, we run a Multi Skills Discount: for every additional course you book at the same time, you save £25! 2 courses booked save you £25, 3 courses booked save you £50 etc. Contact us and we’ll set this up for you!

All of our courses must be paid for one week prior to the course start date. We accept all major credit and debit cards, cheques or a bank transfer.
For all Level 2 courses and higher, we can arrange payment plans

There are a variety of hotels and B&B’s in the area. Email [email protected] for a list of our recommendations to assist you with your stay.

A pair of safety boots. Also for electrical courses, a pen and a calculator you are familiar with would be handy. We provide everything else you need whilst you are being trained. This includes documentation, tools and safety equipment.

We ask that you arrive each morning at 9 am for registration. Tea, coffee is available throughout the day and there is a break for lunch. Courses end approximately at 4 30 pm except when exams are being held.
