What do we offer?

This course introduce you to the tiling trade and teaches you all the basic skills through hands-on tiling training. In our approved training centre, you will gain experience in all aspects of wall and floor tiling, ensuring you can start and finish tiling work the correct way, without paying a significant amount of money to tiling tradesmen.

When training, we use the latest products from the likes of BAL, Weber and use RUBI and Montolit tools and materials, throughout the course we use different tiles and patterns to help build up your skills and knowledge.

As training providers, the most important thing for us is that, by the end of the course, we will have built your skillset to start doing your own work and projects. Here at CBWA, we employ only the best tutors: friendly & professional tradespeople who have decades of trade experience. Therefore, our tutors have up to date industry knowledge and lots of experience in training people.

Course Content

Schedule & Duration:

5 days in a single week (9:00am – 4:30pm, breaks included)
2 consecutive weekends (8:30am – 5:30pm, breaks included)

Our workshops

Providing a memorable & highly personal experience to our students is what matters most. That is why the course has a maximum of 10 students at a time, so that each student gets enough guidance and tuition from our tutors, so you pass the course with all of the required knowledge and understanding. This allows you to ask questions on your mind and get plenty of one-to-one instruction.

With your personal work area and seasoned advice from our experienced professionals on how to execute key tiling techniques, you will be guaranteed a professional, high-end finish to each and every one of your tiling works.

What comes after?

Upon completion of the course, you will receive a Certificate of Competence from our approved training centre, in paper format and signed by your tutor. As training providers the most important thing for us is that by the end of the course we are going to give you the skills and knowledge your own tiling work.

You will learn how to tile floors and walls or to design difficult tiling work. When the tiling is completed, you will have been trained on all aspects of basic tiling skills.

If you choose to pursue a career path in tiling, following your course, you will need a CSCS card to have access and work on a building site. To obtain a CSCS card, you must pass the Health & Safety CSCS test.
